Rockford Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Rockford, Illinois
The Rockford Country Club Golf course first opened for play in 1899 as a 9-hole layout. The course was designed by H. J. Tweedie.
This tree-lined course was built on hilly terrain and has small undulating greens and narrow fairways. The course is located alongside the Rock River. The signature hole is #6, a 164-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to an island green.
Blue tees: par-71, 6,673 yards, 72.5 / 130
White tees: par-71, 6,336 yards, 72.5 / 130
Red tees: par-71, 5,367 yards, 72.5 / 130

A private club well worth trying to get to play. One of the best courses in the area. A very fair test from the tips. Plays along the Rock River.
